Music lovers are invited to enjoy four days of free live music when Paperfest returns to Kimberly July 16 to 19. The festival also offers food, carnival rides, a hot air balloon glow, sporting events and more.
This year’s lineup includes 38 bands playing across three stages. National headline acts are Smash Mouth, Lauren Alaina and Blue Oyster Cult. Many local popular bands are scheduled to play including Vic Ferrari, The Glam Band and Boogie & the Yo-Yo’z.
Other event highlights include fireworks on July 17, a car show and hot air balloon glow on July 18 and a craft fair on July 19. There also will be a petting zoo, a Kids Zone and sporting events from the Sunset 5K run/walk and volleyball to speed lacrosse and cornhole.
As always, admission is free. The event is organized by Kim-Com Promotion, a nonprofit organization comprised of volunteers. Funds raised through Paperfest are donated to local nonprofits in support of youth organizations, service clubs, schools, and many others.
There is no parking allowed on the Paperfest grounds, but free shuttle service is available as street parking fills up quickly. Shuttles run between the grounds and John R Gerritts Middle School and Antique Up.
