FRONT ROYAL, Va. (7News) — The Royal Family knows how to travel in style.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla wrapped their White House visit with a stop at several Virginia landmarks, including Arlington Cemetery and a roughly 70-mile trip to Front Royal, Virginia, near the Shenandoah National Park.
Hundreds of US residents lined Main Street to get a glimpse of Their Majesties and their royal visit, and were greeted by Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger.

“We spent three and a half years in England with the Air Force,” Mike LeBlanc, Ferryville, Virginia, told 7News.
LeBlanc said he admires the Royal Family’s responsibility to the crown.
“…their proper way of handling the business and taking it seriously, what their job is, and taking care of the people of England,” LeBlanc added.
While the ride through Front Royal was quick, many residents said they were able to catch a small glimpse.

“We were shaking a bit.” Miriam ‘Boo’ Campbell and Susan Madagan told 7News.
“They [King Charles and Queen Camilla] were smiling; we’re just so thrilled. My father used to take us to all the presidential inaugurations, and this was right up there with that.” Madagan said.

Shortly after the trip, Their Majesties left the U.S. to return to the United Kingdom.
