Although King Charles has finally succeeded in evicting his younger brother after years of failing to do so, he still appears to have a soft spot for him, and is funding the renovations for his new home. And most interestingly of all, the money is reportedly coming straight out of the King’s own pocket!
“Charles has been incredibly generous and, frankly, far more patient than most people would be in his position,” an insider told the National Enquirer.
The King will reportedly be taking on all of the renovation costs “because he genuinely believes that’s the decent thing to do.”

The disgraced royal reportedly has no intention of downsizing his lifestyle. According to the source, “he wants everything done to the nines because that’s what he’s used to and, in his mind, what he’s entitled to.” Yikes!

Royal insiders also fear the costly renovations could be for nothing. There is reportedly ongoing chatter that the former Duke of York may relocate to the Middle East, where he believes he would be treated far better than he is in the U.K.
“What’s really winding people up is that [Andrew is] still openly talking about eventually moving to the Middle East, so everyone’s asking why Charles is pouring this kind of money into a place [he] may not even stay in long term,” the source explained.
“Andrew has absolutely no intention of settling quietly into Sandringham,” another insider previously told the Enquirer, adding: “He says if Charles and [Prince William] think they can park him in some falling-down dump and pretend that he no longer exists, they have another thing coming.”
