Kris Jenner made a lasting impression on fans in Kanye West’s new documentary.
Ahead of the release of the raw documentary In Whose Name?, TMZ shared a glimpse of the momager’s interaction with the “Gold Digger” rapper.
In an Instagram post, the footage featured a tense exchange between the 69-year-old and the award-winning artist about his mental health.
West refused to take the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch’s advice to be on medication to help him with his bipolar disorder.
“I’d rather be dead than be on medication,” he told Kris Jenner.
In the following scene, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star continued urging him to seek help, calmly noting, “It doesn’t matter.”
But her response sparked the Yeezy founder to explode.
“Am I lying? It do matter! It does matter!” he said as she attempted to calm him down.
The footage drew widespread attention from viewers who were impressed by how the reality star remained composed despite Ye’s reaction.
“She was so calm. She’s a beast!!! Love how she didn’t even flinch,” one wrote.
“Kris is way too calm and clearly has seen way too many tantrums from that child,” a follower said.
“I just wish I had @krisjenner ‘s patience and serenity!” a fan playfully commented.
The same goes for another user who said, “The fact that Kris handled the mantrum with calmness and patience. I’m impressed.
“The fact that Kris didn’t jump, or act surprised by this outburst, makes me think she’s seen it numerous times before,” one pointed out.
“She’s a saint,” a commenter said, in reference to Kris Jenner’s action towards her daughter’s ex-husband.
The newly released documentary of Kanye West explores the unfiltered reality of the singer following his bipolar diagnosis, the marriage fallout with Kim Kardashian, public controversies and his struggles with fame.
Directed by Nico Ballesteros, who also worked with Ye on his 2022 music video “Come to Life” and TV special Kanye West Presents Donda at Soldier Field and the man behind Playboi Carti and Kid Cudi’s song “M3tamorphosis,” the controversial documentary officially hit theaters on Sept. 19.
The documentary features over 3,000 hours of personal footage recorded across six years with his approval.
On the other hand, the SKIMS founder and West filed for divorce in 2021 after tying the knot in 2014. The couple share four children: their eldest, North, followed by Saint, Chicago and youngest, Psalm.
