Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s three-year romance clearly has the approval of their respective parents.
“I just want my daughter to be happy, and she is,” Kylie’s dad, Caitlyn Jenner, told TMZ photographers on Thursday, January 15. “I like that.”
Caitlyn, 76, further confirmed that she’s already met Chalamet, 30, and mused that the Oscar-nominated actor is simply a “great kid.”
“A phenomenal actor and a good kid, and he’s very good to Kylie,” she concluded. “[That’s] even more important.”
Kylie, 28, and Chalamet have been together since 2023, making their red carpet debut two years later. The Kardashians star recently joined Chalamet at the Critics Choice Awards and the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month, watching him take home trophies for his role in Marty Supreme.
“My son just won the Critics Choice Award for best actor!!” Chalamet’s mom, Nicole Flender, later wrote via Instagram on January 4, sharing footage from the Critics Choice ceremony.
Kylie’s mom, Kris Jenner, was among the first in the comments section, adding, “So exciting!!!!!!! 🥳❤️👏🏼🤩.”
When Chalamet accepted his Critics Choice trophy, he even publicly thanked Kylie in his acceptance speech.
“I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years. I love you,” he gushed. “I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
In response, Kylie appeared to mouth, “I love you.”
Kylie also joined Chalamet at the Golden Globes on Sunday, January 11, when he won the award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy.
“My dad instilled a spirit of gratitude in me growing up, ‘Always be grateful for what you have.’ It’s allowed me to leave this ceremony in the past, empty-handed [with] my head held high, grateful just to be here,” Chalamet said in his Golden Globes speech. “I’d be lying if I didn’t say those moments didn’t make this moment that much sweeter. For my parents, for my partner, I love you. Thank you so much.”
Aside from Chalamet’s awards show shout-outs, he and Kylie have kept relatively quiet about their relationship.
“I don’t say that with any fear,” Chalamet told Vogue in November 2025 when asked about his romance. “I just don’t have anything to say.”

Kylie has felt the same, only coyly revealing that same month she’s “never been happier” in her personal life.
“All the stars are aligning, and … yeah, I don’t know,” Kylie hinted on sister Khloé Kardashian’s eponymous podcast. “I mean, there’s a lot. It’s also just growing up, I think. Finding yourself, surrounding yourself with the right people, everything.”
Kylie also shares two children, daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott — and hasn’t ruled out expanding her family further.
“I don’t have a number in my mind,” she previously told HommeGirls in 2023. “Some women do, but I don’t really have a plan. I think that whatever happens is meant to happen.
