Lady Louise Windsor has started to partake in a very ordinary job where she is receiving no special royal treatment. Louise, the daughter of Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, is being paid at the Royal Windsor Horse Show this year to be one of the principal organisers.
While Louise is King Charles’ niece, her work effort has been praised by the event director, who describes the royal as a “great worker”.
Event director Nick Brooks-Ward told Vanity Fair: “Lady Louise is one of the chief organisers, essentially operating a first concierge service.
“She’s a great worker and a real asset to the team with no airs or graces. It’s a proper paid job, and there’s no special treatment because of who she is.
“It’s wonderful that [Lady Louise] has continued this close connection and taken such an interest.
“She’s a great friend to the horse show, and we are very grateful to the King for letting us use his back garden, and we hope to see him at the show this year.”
While she may be working at the event this year, it has been reported that she is expected to take part in the carriage driving competition later this week.
The horse show, which runs until Sunday, is popular among royals, with Duchess Sophie and Princess Anne having already been spotted in attendance on the first day.
