Lark Voorhies has a special place in her heart for Dustin Diamond.
Voorhies, 52, played Lisa Turtle from 1988’s Good Morning, Miss Bliss through all four seasons of Saved by the Bell from 1989 to 1993. Diamond appeared as Samuel ‘Screech’ Powers throughout the entirety of her time with the series.
Catching up with PEOPLE, Voorhies was asked about what Lisa Turtle would have added to a 1993 time capsule at Bayside High School.
“A restraining order on Screech!” she laughed.

On a more serious note, the actress talked about her continued gratitude for her time on Saved by the Bell and her love for the friends she shared the screen with.
“I am so grateful for my experience and I am so proud of my former castmates and I hope in the future we can come together more. And I will miss Dustin forever,” she shared.
Voorhies echoed the sentiment when she appeared in ID’s Hollywood Demons: After the Bell earlier this year. “When he died of cancer, that hurt. Even with Dustin gone, we still carried it on, in the name of Saved by the Bell, Peter Engel, all of the writers and producers, and Dustin,” she shared.
“When we all got to celebrate him, I’m glad we got that on footage, because he matters.”

Diamond’s death came days after a stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis, though the actor had faced health struggles for some time prior to his death.
One of Diamond’s friends, Dan Block, appears in the documentary and recalls the late actor’s fondness for Voorhies and the unforgettable way she honored him in his final days.
“She was a really good person and she left a voicemail for him. We played it for him before he died and he enjoyed it,” he revealed.
“She was the only one who really reached out to him and was really heartfelt. And I know they had a special connection.”
