Lauren Sánchez Bezos took a break from her usual designer garb to twin in all-black ski wear with her husband, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, in the sumptuous mountain town of Aspen on Monday. The two were spotted leaving The White House restaurant after Sánchez Bezos’ 56th birthday the night before.

The former journalist channeled the après-ski aesthetic of the town, dressing in Sun Valley’s Idalen Softshell Ski Pants with white piping, a black zip-up jacket with a fur-trimmed hood and lace-up snow boots. For accessories, she opted for the oversize Moncler Diffractor ML0206 shields and a small pendant necklace.
Next to her, Bezos matched in a monochromatic ensemble, featuring Bogner Sport Tim Ski Trousers, a shiny long sleeve, a black baseball cap, matching snow boots and a quilted jacket in hand.

Sánchez Bezos dressed in an eggplant-colored Christian Dior lamb velvet wrap coat from John Galliano’s fall 2000 collection and a crocodile leather Hermès Kelly 25 bag, while her husband stepped out in a mustard-green Tom Ford calfskin suede jacket with shearling lining.

Sánchez Bezos demonstrated the Aspen aesthetic, which makeup artist Alex Persico described as “polished, elevated beauty with a touch of winter warmth.”
