The 10th edition of the London East Asia Film Festival (Leaff) came to a close with the UK Gala screening of “Kokuho”, the latest work by celebrated Japanese filmmaker Lee Sang-il, held at the iconic Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. It was a fitting finale to a festival that has, over the years, built a reputation for showcasing the most compelling and diverse voices from East and Southeast Asia.
