LeAnne Rimes let her hair down with her 9-1-1: Nashville co-stars the best way she knows how—and in the perfect place.
In a video shared to Instagram this week the country music star along with Juani Feliz, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Jessica Capshaw, Mackenzie Porter, and Hailey Kilgore channeled their inner “Coyote Ugly” bartenders, and danced on top of the Nashville location of the film’s namesake bar.
With Rimes’ song, “Can’t Fight the Moonlight,” in the background, which became synonymous with the 2000 film, the 43-year-old also referenced the cult-classic movie’s famed line in the post’s caption.
“Nashville, do we serve water in this bar…” she wrote, as a nod to the bar’s owner Lil (played by Maria Bello) in the film, as each actress strutted their stuff in the video.
“Somebody call the 113 as your girls had a little fun of their own in between filming,” she added. “Big thank you @coyoteuglysaloonnash for having us and to the badass ladies for teaching us some moves!”
Of course, Feliz, Williams-Paisley, and Capsaw couldn’t help but comment on the fun they had.
“And the next day…after recovering from the hangover…I thought this was a dream,” Feliz wrote. “I love ya’ll.”
“More pleasssssse,” added Williams-Paisley. “This was fun.”
“This is what I was waiting for,” Capshaw wrote of the video.
And fans, both of the movie and Rimes, were loving it.
“This is my absolute favorite part of the movie you being in it,” one wrote, referencing the end of the film. “You are absolutely beautiful and gorgeous! I absolutely love you so much LeAnn!”
“Okay…..this is amazing. I LOVE THIS,” another wrote. “And also……when did you all actually have time to do this”
“I’m obsessed,” added a third.
Along with Bello, “Coyote Ugly” starred Piper Perabo, Adam Garcia, John Goodman, and Tyra Banks. The film follows Perabo’s character, Violet, as she pursues a music career but finds herself working at the risqué bar.
9-1-1: Nashville airs on ABC on Thursdays and streams on Hulu. The next episode of the show will air on Feb. 26.
