TOWNSHEND — Leland & Gray Players’ “She Kills Monsters” was selected to advance to the State Drama Festival.
Sixteen students will travel to Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans to share their work with the seven other state finalists. The festival will be held over two days, April 10 and 11.
Each day, young Leland & Gray thespians will attend workshops, shows, and of course, perform their one act play, “She Kills Monsters.”
The Players thanked “everyone who attended the community performances and offered such useful feedback for polishing the show.”
“Thanks especially to the parents and community members who worked hard all day at our Regional Festival to feed and support over eighty students from four different schools,” the Players said in an announcement.
Students will present a community performance of “She Kills Monsters” in the coming weeks, as they continue to polish and refine the show. The date and time are to be determined.
