Lenny Kravitz praised Harry Styles’ new music video amid news of Styles’ engagement to his daughter Zoë Kravitz

Lenny Kravitz is showing some support for his soon-to-be son-in-law Harry Styles!
On Thursday, May 7, Lenny, 61, shared his excitement for Styles’ latest music video for “Dance No More,” the third visual to arrive from his latest album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
The sexy new video, directed by Colin Solal Cardo, Styles, 32, enters what appears to be a high school gym where he gets down to disco very quickly in little red shorts and tennis shoes, doing some nonstop choreography with a crowd of dancers.
Underneath a still from the music video posted to Instagram by Styles, Lenny — the dad of Zoë Kravitz, 37 — shared a short comment reading, “Harry! ✊🏾❤️.”
In April, PEOPLE confirmed that Styles and Zoë were engaged after eight months of dating.
The confirmation followed photos of the High Fidelity actress spotted out with new bling on her hand during the couple’s recent outing in London.

Lenny isn’t the first of the couple’s family members to share their support for their relationship. In March, British Vogue shared an Instagram carousel of the Caught Stealing actress attending an event during Paris Fashion Week, and eagle-eyed fans realized the former One Direction singer’s mom, Anne Twist, liked the upload.
A source previously opened up to PEOPLE about Lenny’s first time meeting Styles in September 2025, when the British singer-songwriter and the Batman actress had lunch with her dad in New York City.
“Friends of Lenny say he is very protective of Zoë, but it really seemed like he enjoyed meeting Harry,” the source told PEOPLE exclusively. “From what people could tell, he thought Harry was polite, down to earth and genuinely interested in getting to know the family.”
According to the source, those close to the Hunger Games star know “Lenny has always wanted Zoë to be with someone who respects her, and it looked like he felt Harry does. They were laughing a lot at lunch, and it came across that Lenny appreciated Harry’s sense of humor. He likes when someone can keep things light.”
Lenny shares Zoë with ex-wife Lisa Bonet, who he was married to from 1987 to 1993, while Grammy winner Styles was born to mom Twist and dad Desmond “Des” Styles. The exes are also parents to his older sister, Gemma Styles.

Kravitz and Styles were first linked in August 2025, when they were spotted walking arm in arm in Rome. That same month, Deuxmoi reported that the pair had been spotted kissing in London the week prior.
At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the “Sign of the Times” singer was “spending time with Kravitz while she’s been on her [Caught Stealing] press run,” and the pair have been spotted together several times in London and New York City.
“They seem very serious and focused on prioritizing time together,” a source told PEOPLE in February.
“They also seem to have created a life together that they both genuinely enjoy,” the insider added.
A source told PEOPLE that the couple has shared their engagement news with “a small circle,” adding that the actress has been showing off her ring to friends.
