Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson’s romance is the real deal, according to a source.
After working together on the set of the new comedy film The Naked Gun, Liam, 73, and Pamela, 58, quickly started to spark romance rumors. However, some critics believe their chemistry is just for show.
Now that the press tour is over and the Taken actor has nowhere to declare his “mad love” for his co-star, a source has come out to defend the couple and confirm their romance had nothing to do with the cameras.
While speaking to People, the insider said, “Everything between them has been genuine.”
“Neither would ever take part in a publicity stunt,” they added. They have a great time. Neither of them needs the publicity.”
“Pam cooks and gardens at home… It’s wholesome and appealing and very un-Hollywood, and Liam loves that. He actually gets involved.”
Pamela previously revealed she used her home cooking to win Liam over.
During a SiriusXM Town Hall event in New York City recently, Pamela revealed, “[I was] nervous to meet [Liam], of course and you’re always nervous the first day on the set.
“I brought sourdough bread to Liam, cookies, and muffins, and kept myself busy. Kept me outta trouble … It’s a very special [muffin] recipe. It’s very good for you. Let’s just say that.”
Neeson later confirmed, “Pamela’s sourdough was phenomenal,” while also sharing how he remembers meeting the actress for the first time.
“Well, you know, we had never met before and I remember thinking: ‘Wow, she is gorgeous,’” he said. “But she had this wonderful sense of silliness and just humanity about her.”
“I don’t want to blow her head up, but it was like I just felt an ease with her… and we discovered a silliness with each other, which was terrific, you know?”
