Lionsgate’s The Housemaid, the psychological thriller that follows a young woman (Sydney Sweeney) who takes a job working for a wealthy, enigmatic couple, only to discover that the household hides disturbing secrets, ranked No. 1 in its home entertainment retail debut in the United Kingdom.
Disney’s animated Zootopia 2 dropped one spot to No. 2. In the film, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde reunite for a new case that takes them into unexplored corners of the mammal metropolis.
20th Century Studios’ Predator: Badlands, which finds the latest chapter in the franchise returning to its survival roots, dropped one spot to No. 3.
Warner’s Oscar-nominated Sinners dropped one spot to No. 4. The Oscar-nominated film stars Michael B. Jordan in a dual role as twin brothers attempting to escape their violent past who return home only to confront a far greater evil.
Sony’s new release Anaconda (2025) slithered onto the chart at No. 5. In the comedic film, Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) have been best friends since they were kids and have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favorite movie: the cinematic “classic” Anaconda. When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally go for it, they head deep into the Amazon to start filming. But things get real when an actual giant anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation.
Universal’s new release, the Oscar-nominated Hamnet, bowed at No. 6. Based on the acclaimed novel, the film explores the emotional aftermath of young Hamnet Shakespeare’s death, focusing on the grief of his mother Agnes and the impact on William Shakespeare’s life and work.
Signature’s Dracula dropped one spot to No. 7. The modern retelling of Bram Stoker’s classic leans into tragic romance and psychological horror, charting the immortal vampire’s obsession and isolation.
Universal’s Wicked: For Good moved up one spot to No. 8. In the musical sequel, the divide deepens between witches Elphaba and Glinda as Oz moves closer to political upheaval.
Dropping to No. 9 was Sony’s apocalyptic horror flick 28 Years Later. Decades after the initial outbreak, the story examines how civilization has rebuilt itself in a world forever shaped by infection.
Finally, rising from No. 35 last week was Universal’s Bugonia, landing at No. 10. The offbeat sci-fi thriller blends conspiracy and dark humor as two men become convinced a powerful executive is not what she seems.
