The Paris-based company will unveil the new promoreel to buyers for Olivier Clert’s Michael Morpurgo adaptation Lucy Lost, having originally signalled its involvement in the project in 2024.
Following in the wake of Cannes-selected, Annecy winners and César-Bafta-Academy Award nominated pictures Arco and Little Amélie (which the company launched at the 2025 EFM), Lucy Lost is Goodfellas Animation’s new high-profile 2D festival hopeful for 2026.
Adapted from bestselling War Horse writer Morpurgo’s 2014 novel Listen to the Moon, the film revolves around the titular figure of mysterious eleven-year-old Lucy, whose ability to see visions no-one else can see sparks suspicion in the quiet fishing village she calls home.
