Kevin Louis of the Preservation Hall Foundation performs as musicians from three groups play together at Dolores T. Aaron Academy in New Orleans Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019. Members of Kinetika Bloco, a London-based dance and music troupe, joined musicians from the Preservation Hall Foundation and the Dolores T. Aaron Academy band for a musical cultural exchange. The groups shared their history, music, and culture with each other, culminating in a combined performance. Kinetiko Bloco draws its influences from the Caribbean, Brazil, West and Southern Africa, and funk, hip-hop and New Orleans jazz.
