The Scrubs revival is looking more and more like the original Scrubs, as Variety reports that John C. McGinley will be returning to the upcoming ABC show as his famously cantankerous character Dr. Cox.
He’s of course not the only returning cast member, joining the previously announced Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, and Judy Reyes. McGinley will appear in the series as a recurring guest star.

Here’s the official description for the Scrubs revival:
JD (Braff) & Turk (Faison) scrub in together for the first time in a long time — medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way.
