Liverpool is set for another massive summer of entertainment
Liverpool City Region is set for a packed summer of international sport, live music, culture and major events. From stadium concerts and major sporting fixtures to festivals, family attractions and free events, this summer will bring hundreds of thousands of people to the city.
Music highlights include concerts at Anfield Stadium, On the Waterfront, Africa Oyé, In the Park Liverpool, Salt and Tar Weekender and Liverpool’s Summer of Music. Sport features the England Lionesses, The Open Championship, Magic WKND, Fiji v England and Upper Deck Golf.
Cultural events include Moulin Rouge! The Musical, International Beatleweek Festival, major exhibitions and the reopening of St George’s Hall’s Minton Tile Floor. Across the region, visitors can also enjoy Southport’s major festivals and shows, Creamfields’ 20th anniversary, the International Festival of Glass and We Are Wirral Festival.
