Lizzo’s latest date night is the pudding in the proof.
The “Juice” singer stepped out at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles Nov. 8, where she was joined on the red carpet by her boyfriend Myke Wright for a rare joint appearance.
To mark the occasion, Lizzo (real name Melissa Jefferson) wore a sparkling black dress with matching heels, accentuating the understated look with minimalist jewelry including a diamond choker necklace. As for Myke, he complemented his date in a head-to-toe Gucci ensemble consisting of a suit jacket, loafers and tinted sunglasses.
The couple—who previously appeared together earlier this year at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in March—first made their romance public in 2022, but Lizzo previously shared that their bond dates much further back.
“I had a friends-to-lovers trope,” the 37-year-old told Jake Shane on his Therapuss podcast in May. “We both worked on this TV show for MTV. I was the music girl, he was the comedy guy, and I was like, ‘He’s my best friend.’”

After letting friendship develop over the course of a few years, the pair officially began dating in 2021, though they waited a year to share their relationship publicly. And while their love was a slow burn, Lizzo wouldn’t have had it any other way.

“I was like, ‘Wow I can really talk to him,’” she explained. “We had this crazy bond for years, and I do love that we were friends first. That means we can talk about anything.”
In addition to her healthy relationship, Lizzo has also been working hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle amid her weight loss journey. In fact, she previously shared how setting “sustainable” goals has been an essential part of her successful transformation.
“It’s a beautiful balance where it’s like, if you allow yourself to have something, you can enjoy it without overindulging and hurting yourself,” she told Women’s Health in July. “I’m so proud of myself for overcoming that.”
