The UK hardcore scene is fertile ground these days, and London’s Dynamite are among its many standouts. Dynamite haven’t released a full-length yet, but they’ve already played all over the world and perfected their driven, purposeful, straight-ahead style. Dynamite collaborated with people like High Vis’ Graham Sayle and Turnstile’s Meg Mills on their 2023 debut EP Blow The Bloody Doors Off!, and they followed it with last year’s Settle The Score. Now, they’ve finally got an album on the way.
In keeping with hardcore tradition, Dynamite just shared a new three-song promo tape, with two new songs and a cover. The new songs, “Lay To Rest” and “Safe Keeping,” are both demo-core anthems that sound a little different when delivered in British accents. The cover is a take on the NYHC band Rest In Pieces’ 1987 ripper “Old Gray Mare Stomp/Stark Raving Nude.” Check out the promo tape below.
LP Promo is out now on Northern Unrest, with the actual LP apparently coming later this year.
