A long-running Suffolk music festival is moving to a new location for its 12th year.
The Maui Festival of Music and Performing Arts will be held at Elveden Hall, near Thetford, over the August bank holiday weekend, from Friday, August 22, to Sunday, August 24, 2025.
The estate, once home to Maharaja Duleep Singh and now owned by the Earl of Iveagh, is known for its ancient woodland setting and has featured in films including The Living Daylights, Eyes Wide Shut, Stardust and Tomb Raider.

He added that Elveden’s connections and infrastructure would help focus efforts on “the show, the music, the art, the décor, and the atmosphere”.
Maui is set to host 13 international bands, including Thumpasaurus from California, K.O.G from Ghana, and the multinational Max Pashm Band, many of whom will be performing in the UK for the first time.
Across six stages, more than 100 acts will appear over the three days.

The weekend will also feature live comedy, cabaret, workshops and a range of wellness activities.
Children aged 13 and under can attend for free.
The festival is known for its creative flair, including a body painting competition and themed full-body designs.
It also operates a green policy, recycling 80% of waste on site and using solar energy for lighting.
