Global music superstar Louis Tomlinson has unveiled Palaces, the latest track lifted from his highly anticipated third studio album How Did I Get Here?, set for release on 23 January 2026.
The new single offers a punchy, anthemic slice of guitar-driven pop, exploring the nostalgia and emotional pull of returning home. Written and recorded in the UK, Palaces sees Tomlinson reflect: “I’m lost in the time, I don’t care for the world outside, you can stay through the night in the palaces of my mind.”
Tomlinson will bring his new music to Irish fans next year, performing at Dublin’s 3Arena on 30 April 2026 as part of his global How Did We Get Here World Tour.
How Did I Get Here?—now available for pre-order—marks Tomlinson’s most personal and introspective work to date. The project was born from writing sessions in the English countryside before Tomlinson relocated to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, where he continued developing the album with producer and co-writer Nico Rebscher (Aurora, Alice Merton).
The album follows the success of first single Lemonade, which has surpassed 14 million streams and earned playlist support from BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, and Capital. Tomlinson’s recent UK Live Lounge performance showcased both Lemonade and a crowd-stirring rendition of Hozier’s Too Sweet.
