“Love Island USA” is bringing Casa Amor to movie theaters

Love Island USA is headed to the big screen.

On June 22, the über-popular Peacock series will screen in theaters, giving fans a front row seat to one of the dating competition’s most anticipated (and drama-filled) episodes — Casa Amor.

For the first time ever, viewers will get to witness “bombshell twists, tests, and unforgettable recouplings in real time,” according to a news release.

The all-new offering for season 8 will be available across 28 theaters, with tickets available via Fandango.

While Love Island USA season 8 could potentially change how Casa Amor works — as each season tends to offer new twists and challenges for its love-seeking Islanders — the basics come down to offering the ultimate relationship test.

Usually introduced midway through the season, Casa Amor splits couples apart, with half the cast staying at the main villa and the other half going to a second villa at an undisclosed location. New singles, called Casa Boys and Casa Girls, are introduced, enticing now-separated partners as they get to “explore” potential new connections.

At the end of the Casa Amor experience, Islanders have the option to stick with their original partner or recouple with a Casa counterpart. Typically, any Casa bombshell not chosen is “dumped” from the island.
