Lufeh have released the official music video for “Live The New Today,” a track from the band’s latest album, Overwhelmed, which arrived on May 29.
The song blends progressive rock with power metal influences and features guest vocalist and electric violinist Ginny Luke, whose performance appears on three tracks throughout the album.
According to the band, “Live The New Today” focuses on self-reflection, honesty, and “choosing to step into a renewed version of oneself.” They also describe it as “the richest song on the album,” highlighting its shifting dynamics and the combination of bass, guitar, and violin solos.
Overwhelmed was recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles and marks the follow-up to the band’s 2020 debut, Luggage Falling Down. The album finds Lufeh moving toward a more melody-driven and vocal-focused approach while continuing to incorporate progressive rock, metal, fusion, and Brazilian influences.
