Following their viral performance at Lollapalooza on Thursday, July 31, Luke Combs and Alex Warren have released their duet of Warren’s smash hit “Ordinary” on Spotify and Apple Music.
The artists announced the collaboration via Instagram Reels on Thursday, August 7. In the video, Warren playfully stares at Combs while the two sit in his car. The text says, “POV: you’re admiring him because we have a song that came out but he’s just shy…”
“Ordinary w/ @lukecombs OUT NOW” Warren captioned the post.
Fans immediately took to the comment section to react to the live performance finally being available for streaming.
“OMGGGG IS IT GETTING PUBLISHED OMG” wrote one fan. “I shed a tear when i first heard it, a duo i never knew i needed 🥹❤️” commented another.
“if this won’t crash spotify, i swear people…” added a third.
Making history as the first country headliner at Lollapalooza, Combs performed hits like “Beer Never Broke My Heart” and “One Number Away” before deciding to switch things up to cover pop song “Ordinary” towards the end of his set.
After singing the first verse, Combs stunned the crowd by bringing out Warren himself — fist-bumping the rising star as he began his portion of the song.
Following the performance, Combs posted the unforgettable moment to Instagram, and Warren left a comment expressing his gratitude.
“I wish one day I have an ounce of talent that you have Luke, blessed to be able to share a stage with you.” he wrote.
Since being released in February, “Ordinary” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for nine non-consecutive weeks and topped the Billboard Global 200 for ten weeks, while reaching number one in over twenty countries.
Before becoming a singer, Warren was known as a social media influencer, most notably as a member of TikTok’s “Hype House.”
