John Rich remains busy on social media sharing his support for President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, and he has a good bit of support among his followers.
But a recent post got the country music star plenty of pushback.
The issue?
Well, Rich shared a post from Disclose.TV announcing that Bill and Hillary Clinton were refusing to testify in the House’s Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
“If they are not arrested, then it’s a fact,” Rich wrote. “Bill and Hillary are indeed ABOVE the law.”
That got the ball rolling.
Someone responded, “Same for Trump.”
“What courtroom has he not attended?” Rich replied. “Send me a link :).”
Someone replied quickly writing, “You really are a (expletive), huh?”
That person linked a2019 story from the ACLU with the headline, “When President Trump Rejects Congressional Subpoenas, He Rejects the Constitution and the Powers It Gave Congress.”
Others pointed out that Trump reportedly defied a subpoena from the Jan. 6 committee back in 2022.
Others simply went on the attack.
“I mean considering he lied and said the Epstein files were a hoax, so ya know,” one person replied. “Just words from his own mouth :).”
“What a clueless Kool aid drinking smooth brain window licker you are …” another wrote.
“He’s literally named in the Epstein Files,” another wrote. “But go on, keep supporting a pedophile.”
Rich didn’t jump back into the mix on that one, but he typically doesn’t mind going back-and-forth with followers.
There were, of course, folks who agreed with him and called for the Clinton’s to be arrested, too. Others expressed anger at Attorney General Pam Bondi for not attempting to act on the idea.
“Just one time during my lifetime, I want to see Hillary Clinton in cuffs and perp walked,” one person wrote. “I’m not asking for much.”
It will be interesting to see if Rich circles back on this one.
