Mandy Moore is giving fans a walkthrough to remember.
The This Is Us alum and husband Taylor Goldsmith offered a look inside their remodeled home after the property was significantly damaged during the Los Angeles wildfires in January 2025, detailing the immediate aftermath of the devastating blaze.
“I came here a few hours after the fire passed through this area,” Taylor said in an Architectural Digest video published Feb. 11. “The studio was on fire in the back, our garage was already burnt down.”
Fortunately for the couple—who share kids August, 4, Oscar, 3, and Louise, 16 months—the house wasn’t destroyed completely, and they were able to change the mid-century modern structure to a Spanish colonial architecture. Still, a large portion of their belongings were lost and needed to be replaced.
“In my ignorance around what it means to live in a home that had been through a fire, I walked through and thought, ‘Everything’s fine, we made it, it’s gonna be OK and we’ll be back within a month or something,’” Taylor continued. “But very quickly, we learned that all the soft goods—all the furniture, the rugs—that was all thrown away.”

In addition to sharing detailed glimpses at their new kitchen, family room, bedrooms and backyard, Mandy shared how the ordeal renewed her personal connection to her community in Altadena.

“Overwhelmingly, you feel so proud to live here and so proud to stake your claim here,” she explained. “So many people that we know, too, neighbors of ours, are doing the same, and I feel like it’s gonna bring everybody that much closer.”
Last fall, the “Candy” singer shared a candid reflection on the aftermath of the fire as she celebrated Thanksgiving with Taylor and their kids.
“It’s been a pretty wild and difficult year,” she wrote on Instagram in November, “but the top line is definitely overwhelming gratitude.”

Father’s Day 2023
Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith welcomed son August “Gus” Harrison in February 2021 and Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett Goldsmith in October 2022.

“I marvel at all you bring to the table- your patience, your gentle nature, your willingness to change a diaper or get up with a crying baby without me ever asking or to run around and get in the dirt with a very active toddler at any moment,” the actress continued in her message. “Your ability to get Gus to eat something he’d flat out refused with me or elicit Ozzie’s immediate laughter, your music curation for our boys- which is TOP NOTCH… I could go on and on.”

“We had an early Birthday bash with friends and family for Goosey,” Mandy wrote on Instagram in February 2023. “2 years with the sweetest, goofiest guy has absolutely flown by. We’re the luckiest folks around to be in your orbit, Gus Goldsmith.”
