Senior residents take a field trip to the batting cages
Residents from ‘Our Home’ Senior Living in River Falls, Wisconsin took a field trip to D-Bats and spent some time taking swings in the batting cages.

Proving it can compete in the big leagues, a central Ohio sports facility has been recognized for having one of the best batting cages in the United States.
Mannino’s Grand Slam USA was ranked fifth out of 10 batting cages across the nation when voters stepped up to the plate in the USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards.
Each week, industry experts nominate their favorite attractions and points of interest in an array of categories. Final nominees are chosen by 10BEST editors, then presented to the voting public.
Owned by Brian Mannino and Kathy Fishbaugh, Mannino’s Grand Slam USA is a 24,000-square-foot facility boasting five dual batting cages and pitching machines with speeds from 40 to 85 mph.
Visitors also have access to seven multiuse batting and pitching tunnels, each one 70 feet long and 15 feet wide with a 15-foot ceiling.
