Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff are going their separate ways after almost three years of marriage. Sources told People that the pair had quietly separated; rumors had spread following Qualley’s absence from Taylor Swift’s wedding and fans noticing she had taken down her and Antonoff’s wedding photos on Instagram.

One source described the 31-year-old actress and 42-year-old producer’s relationship as “rocky.” A second insider said that Qualley and Antonoff are “figuring things out.”

Antonoff attended Swift’s wedding with his sister Rachel. He and Qualley first started dating in 2021. They got married in August 2023.

Qualley most recently spoke about Antonoff in her Vanity Fair cover story, which was released this February. She said, “I’ve always been very love-oriented. I’ve always been looking for my person, and I met Jack. Jack has helped me for sure, because he has made me feel more confident to explore all the parts of myself.”

She later added over text, “I love my husband, my family. I love dancing and horses. I love the moon. Happy crying is the best. I love listening to Tara Brach and books on tape. And anything Jack writes.”

Antonoff spoke about their wedding himself while on Late Night with Seth Meyers in December 2023. “Someone told me that when you die and when you get married is the only time everyone you love is in a room,” he said. “And I was like, ‘Oh, that is just a thing someone says, and I perform for a living so I don’t mind if the attention is on me.’ And then as soon as it started, my whole body became wet…I’m looking for jokes, but it was just really beautiful.”
