New Music Friday – June 5, 2026

Happy Friday! As 2025 comes to an end, artists are sharing some incredible pieces of work. It’s a great week for women in Hip Hop with releases from Mariah Carey, Cardi B, and Doja Cat. Let’s get the weekend started with our weekly round-up of fresh hits from A-list names and rising stars from a variety of genres.

Rauw Alejandro – Besito en La Frente

Rauw Alejandro has officially dropped his prequel album to his successful Cosa Nuestra, which earned him a nomination for Album of the Year at the Latin GRAMMYs. Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0 continues to pay tribute to his Puerto Rican roots with Afro-Caribbean rhythms, like bomba and plena and is his “way of showing that the Caribbean isn’t the past, but a living present that continues to ignite the world.” The 14-track body of work includes the previously released singles “Carita Linda,” “Buenos Términos,” and “GuabanSexxx,” and collaborations with Ñengo Flow, Mon Laferte, Ayra Starr, Rvssian, and more.

Mariah Carey – Play This Song ft. Anderson .Paak

Mariah Carey’s 16th studio album Here for It All is finally here. The 11-track body of work stays true to her smooth R&B and hip hop aesthetic, showcasing her powerful vocals. There are only three collaborations on the album, including “Play This Song” with her rumored boyfriend Anderson .Paak. It comes with a black and white video starring the singers, and their chemistry is undeniable.

Mario Bautista, Fede Vigevani – Acapulco

Mario Bautista teams up with Uruguayan creator Fede Vigevani on “Acapulco,” a tropical-meets-electronic single that’s giving back with 100% of the profits going to an institution supporting vulnerable children and teens in Guerrero, with help from the state government. “Acapulco has given me laughter, childhood memories, parties, and sunburns… the least I can do in return is give it this song. It’s an honor to contribute my grain of sand to this port that has given me so many waves of happiness,” Bautista explains.

Cardi B – ErrTime (feat. Latto)

Cardi B’s album AM I THE DRAMA is incredible, and she surprised fans with a Bardi Gang Edition that includes a remix to “ErrTime,” with Latto. The track goes hard as they sing about partying in the club with beautiful women.

BROKIX – GANJAH

BROKIX, the Colombian trio shaking up música urbana, drops “GANJAH,” a fast, fun, dance track channeling the group’s signature “weird but chimba” flow. Made up of Kryan, Jayce, and KidNicco, the self-proclaimed “los rarxs de la escena urbana” fuses punk energy, reggaetón, and alt-pop into something all their own.

Gloria Estefan, NATHY PELUSO – Chirriqui Chirri

Latin music icon Gloria Estefan drops a new remix from Raíces, her first Spanish album in 18 years, this time reimagining “Chirriqui Chirri” with Argentine star Nathy Peluso. The colorful salsa track, built on playful onomatopoeia, celebrates the joy and sabor of Latin music in our homes and streets. For Peluso, it’s both a fresh, modern twist and a dream collaboration.

 Doja Cat – Gorgeous

Doja Cat’s new album Vie is out now. The singer’s focus track, “Gorgeous,” will have you feeling yourself in the mirror as Doja gets real about societal pressures and her cosmetic surgery. It comes with an 80s-inspired music video star-studded with models like Ugbad Abdi, Irina Shayk, Anok Yai, Alex Consani, Amelia Gray Hamlin, Paloma Elsesser, and more.

Zion, Bad Gyal – Ella

Zion and Bad Gyal come together on his EP The Perfect Melody II – Chapter I. The four-track EP blends Zion’s style with fresh sounds, including their collaboration, “Ella,” a reggaeton track that has an early 2000s vibe. The release comes after the live debut of her single “Da Me” at Premios Juventud.

Kikito – Pacas Pacas

Kikito, a young singer-songwriter from Sinaloa, drops his new single “Pacas Pacas,” a track about resilience, patience, and the strength of family. From pawning his guitar to seeing his songs recorded by Adriel Favela and Tito Torbellino Jr., Kikito is carving his path as a solo artist.

The Starting Line – I See How It Is

The Starting Line is back with their 4th studio album, Eternal Youth. The pop-rock group with bangers like “The Best of Me” keeps the nostalgia alive with a front-to-back listening experience that will have you ready to move.
