The event begins at 9 a.m. at the park, 300 N. Donk Ave., with food, drinks, games and music planned throughout the day. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new pavilion is scheduled for 5 p.m., followed by music from Sailing with Scott Marlin at 6 p.m.
The event is cash-only, with an ATM on-site. Outside alcohol is not allowed. Beer trucks will be stationed in the park.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and wear red, white and blue. Street parking will be available throughout the village. Parking at Mother of Perpetual Help Church will be available after 5 p.m.
