Maya Rudolph opened up about a very revealing celebrity cameo in the season premiere for the third season of her series, Loot.
The 53-year-old Saturday Night Live alum plays billionaire Molly Wells on the Apple TV show. The season premiere, which aired on Wednesday, Oct. 15, introduced Henry Winkler‘s character Gerald Canning.
The 79-year-old Happy Days star’s character is a billionaire, who also happens to be the head of a nudist colony. As a result, his scenes feature a decent amount of nudity.
Most of the nudity is censored, but during a Thursday, Oct. 16 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Rudolph revealed that there was almost some real nudity on set.
Rudolph described the scenes as “fun” to host Jimmy Kimmel, who tried to tactfully ask if everyone wore clothes while filming.
“Did I see a lot of penis?” Rudolph asked, “And boobs?”
She answered her own question, saying, “No. They were covered in very tasteful, you know, like sports… Like nude colored sports shorts and things like that. Kind of exercise-wear if you will.”
“I feel like people were a little bit cold, and I felt very guilty because everyone was, like, over 70,” the Bridesmaids star admitted.
Despite the chill, she recalled that some of the stars were more than willing to bare even more skin, saying, “But there were a few individuals who enjoyed it a little too much and volunteered not to wear any of the clothing at all. And we were letting them know, like, it’s okay.”

“And they were like, ‘It’s no problem at all. I can just take these shorts right off. In fact, I’d be more comfortable.’ They’re like, ‘You know what? You just keep that loincloth on,’ ” she said with a chuckle.
Kimmel, 57, said that he’d had similar experiences in the locker room at the gym.
“The older guys like to give you a look at what the future holds,” he explained, “It’s more of a threat than anything.”

“That’s such a good visual. They just turn around and all you see is a loincloth?” Rudolph asked, with Kimmel replying, “Well, you see a lot more than that. They want you to know that your balls are not finished descending.”
“Neither are mine,” she quipped in response.
In regards to Winkler’s cameo, Rudolph revealed that she was a lifelong fan and that she did pitch the nude scenes to him herself.
“He knows that I’m a big fan. I’ve been in love with him since I was a little kid. No joke. Like, truly since Happy Days. Arthur Fonzarelli was supposed to be my husband. I don’t know what happened, but Henry is the greatest. And just goes to show you is, like, up for doing anything,” she said.
