The McFadden-Ward House Museum is set to host a series of engaging events this November, offering a mix of music, photography, and maritime history to the public. This Friday, the museum will welcome the ten-piece band Midlife Crisis, known for their lively performances of 60s, 70s, and 80s rock. The event, taking place on the museum’s expansive lawn, promises a family-friendly atmosphere with ample space for guests to enjoy the music. Gates open at 6 p.m., with the band starting at 6:30 p.m. at 1906 McFadden Ave.

On Sunday, the museum invites the community to a holiday photo shoot from noon to 2 p.m. Guests can capture festive images inside the historic home, beautifully decorated for Christmas with garlands and original objects from the museum’s collection. The photo session is free, and participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras or phones.
Next Thursday, Nov. 13, maritime archaeologist James Delgado will present a lecture titled “Lost, Unknown and Then Found: The Great Museum of the Sea.” Delgado, known for his work on the Titanic and USS Arizona, will share his insights starting at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. All events are free and open to the public, with parking available at the visitor center at 1906 Calder Ave.
