Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain a united front and it appears they are calling on a unique strategy to be across their priorities.
We spoke to Emma Fabiani, who runs a Meghan Markle fanpage on Instagram, and according to the royal expert, Harry is focusing on family ties and Meghan is building her professional identity. This comes on the heels of Prince William accelerating plans to bring Harry back to the U.K.
Fabiani said: “They seem to be on parallel but compatible paths, she’s building her professional identity, and he’s quietly focusing on family ties.”
From the outside looking in, it seems like the Sussexes are taking a divide and conquer approach — so each area can get the attention it needs to be a success story — and then the two circle back and meet in the middle. With Thanksgiving coming up, it could be an opportunity to focus on business and family.
Fabiani has a feeling the Sussexes’ plans will be “balanced and consistent,” based on what she’s been seeing in general.
Harry is in pursuit of a royal reconciliation, particularly with his father, King Charles, and while Thanksgiving isn’t celebrated in the U.K., it wouldn’t hurt to give the Royal Family a shout out on Instagram, in which Meghan has been much more active in recent months.
We checked in with Pauline Maclaran about Meghan’s marketing efforts and how it aligns with Harry’s return to royal life.
Maclaran is both a royal author and professor of consumer marketing, which makes her the perfect person to provide an assessment.
She said: “Meghan certainly seems to have been sharing more of their private side so she may feature their Thanksgiving celebrations in some way on her Instagram – perhaps to feature her wine as a reminder to order for Christmas. But mainly to keep her presence on social media.
“I suspect she is saving most of her efforts for the Christmas trade which makes sense as there is much more gift-giving at this time. Her products are ideal as presents!”
