Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been slammed as “disrespectful” to Queen Elizabeth following her death, a Royal expert has claimed.
The monarch died in September 2022, yet this didn’t stop the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from releasing their explosive Netflix documentary just two months afterward.
Following their attendance at the Queen’s funeral in the UK, the pair jetted back to their Montecito, California, home. Their Netflix show, Harry and Meghan, was reportedly filmed during the Queen’s final months as her health was said to be declining fast, Royal commentator Richard Eden revealed.
The program created tension among the Royal Family as Meghan and Harry claimed they were feeding stories to the press. In the documentary, Meghan recounted her initial meeting with the Royal family.
She demonstrated an over-the-top curtsy while recalling her first encounter with the late Queen. “It’s surreal. It wasn’t like some big moment of like, ‘Now you’re going to meet my grandmother,” Meghan said in the clip.
Prince Harry published his debut memoir, Spare, four months following the Queen’s passing. The book features scathing attacks on the Royal family and discloses a fierce confrontation with his brother Prince William, who supposedly called Harry’s wife “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive.”
Harry claims that his brother “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.”
Eden responded by voicing gratitude that the book wasn’t released until four months after the Queen’s passing, protecting her from enduring the anguish of learning about Harry’s betrayals and attacks on her beloved family members.
