Meghan Markle faced some light-hearted ribbing from fans for her choice of attire in the kitchen, as seen in the latest trailer for her upcoming Netflix series.
The new teaser for ‘With Love, Meghan,’ set to premiere on August 26, features the Duchess of Sussex donning a variety of outfits while navigating the culinary world.
In the show, Meghan shares hosting and cooking tips with a fresh batch of guests while learning from them. One scene shows her preparing a salad alongside American chef Samin Nosrat, who is dressed in a gorgeous belted floral print midi dress in white and green by Carolina Herrera, retailing at around $3,100.
While the dress itself is undeniably chic, some viewers felt it was a bit much for a cooking show. One Instagram user commented: “Beautiful dress, but not for cooking.”
Another chimed in, “Even Martha Stewart wore pants when she cooked.” A third simply stated: “Uggg,” reports the Express.
However, others were smitten with the Duchess’s outfit and took to social media to express their admiration. One fan gushed, “Very pretty dress for Meghan.”

The former ‘Suits’ actress will be joined by a star-studded lineup of guests throughout the eight-episode series, including US model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen, ‘Queer Eye’ star Tan France, as well as podcaster Jay Shetty and his cookbook author wife Radhi Devlukia.
Other culinary experts joining Ms Nosrat include Clare Smyth, Christina Tosi, Jose Andres, and David Chang, along with Meghan’s close friends, pilates instructor Heather Dorak and makeup artist Daniel Martin.
The preview, set to Bobby Day’s upbeat Rockin’ Robin, featured Meghan cooking, baking, and crafting with her celebrity friends and saying, “I love the idea of just spending time together and finding new ways to show people you care.”
With Love, Meghan returns for a second season on Netflix on August 26.
