Meghan Markle was slammed when she released her latest As Ever products, with critics branding the expensive items “tone deaf” amid the current economic climate.
The Duchess of Sussex released new products including a $64 candle and $32 jar of jam, with some people suggesting the items were far too expensive. To add to Meghan’s bad luck, she’s just lost her 10th publicist in five years.
Emily Robinson joined the Sussexes in June, but she quit just months later, leaving the team in October. Despite the bad news, things could be looking up for Meghan as she’s now received an offer to be represented by a brand new PR company.
Speaking exclusively to The Express US, PR expert Ryan McCormick said his firm Goldman McCormick PR would love to represent Meghan and help turn things around.
He told us the company would step in and “provide the structure, strategy, and stability her brand urgently needs.”
“Meghan doesn’t need spin. She needs consistency,” McCormick, Managing Partner of Goldman McCormick PR, said. “We also think there needs to be more clarity about what her brand stands for.”
McCormick’s PR firm has suggested Meghan needs to make “more connection” with her audience and show “more authenticity” online.
McCormick continued, “Meghan has visibility, but she needs to focus on trust. When the public sees constant turnover and mixed messaging, it signals instability.
“People don’t want a perfectly staged version of Meghan; they want the real one. We would help her build that bridge back to credibility through honesty, humility, and purpose-driven storytelling.”
If Goldman McCormick PR were to take over Meghan’s representation, they would “reset the Duchess’s public narrative through clear messaging and strategic media engagement.”

Goldman McCormick PR have offered to meet with Meghan and her team to “discuss a communications strategy designed to restore credibility and remind the world why Meghan Markle became such a compelling figure in the first place.”
Meghan’s latest As Ever products were criticized on social media. On Reddit, one person wrote, “If there ever were a year when people are not going to feel like celebrating with ‘sparkling wine,’ this is it. Economic uncertainty, Amazon and federal workers laid off, natural disasters, etc., etc.”
They continued, “If there ever were a year when people are not going to want to shell out $89 plus shipping costs for ONE bottle of leftover white-labeled plonk from 2021 (which is so ordinary she recommends putting JAM in it), this is it. She can post ‘festive’ videos on Instagram all she wants. It’s the wrong time and the wrong product. What a stupid decision. As ever.”
Another person agreed, “No kidding those prices are crazy.Why buy an unknown sparkling plonk when you can get Veuve Clicquot or Dom for about the same price.”
