Meghan Markle has made a surprise appearance on MasterChef Australia.
The 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex joined the Channel 10 cooking competition as a guest judge, where she was welcomed with plenty of enthusiasm.
However, body language expert Inbaal Honigman believes Meghan’s reaction to one particular moment was “overreacted.” Elsewhere, latest reports state that Harry and Meghan “can’t resist” a UK return as their Althorp visit impacts King Charles.
Speaking to The Express US on behalf of casino.org, Honigman said, “Meghan’s reaction to the Chef exclaiming ‘Make it sparkle for Meghan Markle’ is an overstatement of delight and surprise. She’s happy, but expresses her happiness in a very overegged way.” Honigman also pointed to the moment Meghan covered her face with her hands after hearing the comment.
She said, “Meghan covers her face with her hands, feigning embarrassment. It’s actually an overreaction to the joke, showing that she’s experiencing an intense emotion.”

The expert went on to state that Meghan’s body language suggested she was completely at ease during the exchange and enjoyed the attention.
“Meghan leans forward as she laughs, indicating how comfortable she feels in the context of the joke. Making a pun of her name is a personal kind of adoration and she loves it. The adoration suits her down to a T,” the expert shared.
Meghan’s guest appearance on MasterChef Australia was filmed during her and Prince Harry’s visit to Australia in April, with the Duchess stepping in as a surprise guest judge for the competition’s final four contestants.

Her appearance had been teased for months before finally airing, with producers keeping it under wraps until she walked into the kitchen.
In an interview with MasterChef Australia judges Sofia Levin and Poh Ling Yeow, the judges explained that the Duchess of Sussex was “quite clear at wanting to get to know the contestants better.”
In an interview with 10 News+ Poh added, “And she said, ‘You know, you know these guys, but I don’t. So I would really like to see some stories and food that’s going to show us their personalities’.”
Judge Sofia Levin also said, “You know, she’s a home cook, and she’s a gardener herself. So when you think about it, we’re getting more and more connected to our food.”
