Meghan Markle posted an International Women’s Day tribute to her daughter, Lilibet, on Instagram.
The As Ever founder gave a rare look at their relationship, sharing a photo of them enjoying a day at the beach.
Meghan gave fans another look at Lilibet just last month on Valentine’s Day.
On Sunday, March 9, Meghan Markle honored Lilibet for International Women’s Day by sharing an intimate mother-daughter photo on Instagram.
In the image, Meghan and the 4-year-old sat on rocks at the beach. Meghan gave Lilibet a hug and kiss on the forehead while they looked out at the waterfront.
“For the woman she will one day be…Happy International Women’s Day,” she captioned the image, noting that the photo was taken by Prince Harry (“Papa Sussex”).
The new photo of Lilibet comes weeks after Meghan posted a picture of Harry with Lilibet in his arms on Valentine’s Day. Lilibet held several red balloons in her hands in the shot that gave fans a rare look at her face. (Meghan and Harry have mostly kept Lilibet’s and their older son Archie’s faces hidden in photos to protect their privacy.)
“These two + Archie = my forever Valentines,” she captioned the post.
In addition to International Women’s Day and Valentine’s Day, Meghan also previously celebrated Lilibet on International Day of the Girl in October. For that occasion, the As Ever brand founder shared a clip of Lilibet running in the grass and a photo of the two of them enjoying time outdoors.
The duchess wrote under the post, “To all the girls—this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you. It’s your right and our responsibility. Go get ’em girl! 🏃♀️Happy International Day of the Girl.”
That same month, Meghan made rare comments about Lilibet and Archie while accepting the Humanitarians of the Year award at the 2025 World Mental Health Day Gala hosted by Project Healthy Minds. In the speech, she reflected on her apprehension with her kids one day using social media.
“Our children, Archie and Lili, are just 6 and 4 years old,” she said. “Can you believe it? Luckily, still too young for social media.”
She continued, “But we know that day is coming. And like so many parents, we think constantly about how to embrace technologies benefits while safeguarding against its dangers. And that hopeful intention of separation is rapidly becoming impossible.”
Though Meghan has recently shared small glimpses of her children’s lives, she noted in her speech that she remains focused on “building a safer digital world for all of our children.”
