Meghan Markle has already released a number of products with her As Ever brand – and it seems she could soon be launching a new business venture.
The Duchess of Sussex has so far sold items such as bottles of Sauvignon Blanc, jars of jam, honey, teas and edible “flower sprinkles.” Fans believe they’ve worked out her next move thanks to a video she shared on Instagram.
Meghan took to the social media platform following her recent trip to New York to share a video of her favorite moments. In the clip, she was seen applying makeup, with her products all lined up on her dressing table.
After watching the video, fans raced to X to share their thoughts, with many believing Meghan could be releasing her own cosmetics line.
One person pointed out, “Theoretically, there’s more [cash emoji] in cosmetics than in jam.” Someone else predicted, “Meghan next reboot—make up.”
The source suggested the former Suits star will have an easier time making “a lot more money in beauty than selling pots of jam.”
The source added that makeup is largely about “high-end packaging” but pointed out that the product itself is usually quite cheap to produce.
“So the mark-ups are huge and there’s potential to make big numbers on sales,” the source continued. “Meghan clearly has a flair for packaging, so it would be a natural progression.”
Only time will tell what Meghan decides to sell next, but it’s likely it will tie in with her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.
