Meghan Markle shared a photograph of her spouse, Prince Harry, to mark his birthday, with one Royal authority branding the move “calculated” and questioning her “peculiar” selection of imagery.
The vintage snapshot was captured during an RAF flyover at Goodwood Aerodrome in West Sussex back in 2015, years before Meghan had encountered Harry.
Royal biographer Ingrid Seward analyzed Meghan’s potential reasoning behind the photograph choice.
She asserted: “I think Meghan chose that photo because it was Harry, what she would say, at his hunkiest. He looked very, sort of, masculine and young and macho, and I think that’s probably how Meghan likes to see him.”
As detailed in The Sun, she additionally wondered: “I do think it’s a bit strange that she didn’t choose one more in line with the time when they met, or maybe even one of them together, but knowing Meghan, everything she does is very carefully thought through.”
The authority remarked it’s “just very Meghan… very American, it’s Californian”. She continued: “I mean a lot of people say things like that, but coming from her, it is slightly nauseating, I think. Meghan is an actress, and I don’t think she ever stops acting.
“I think she is always trying too hard to be relatable. If only she’d take that smile off her face occasionally, and see another expression. It’s lovely to see someone smiling, but there’s something quite unnatural about Meghan’s big smile.
“Every photograph she posts is contrived, and I think that is a shame, because we only get to see that one side of her, and it’s not a particularly attractive side.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have both recently been featured in a fresh trailer for a program honoring 70 years of Disneyland.
The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland, an ABC News program, will air on Sunday.
Harry remarked in the preview clip: “Space Mountain was one of my favourite things,” with Meghan responding, “It’s still one of your favourite rides.”
The couple marked their daughter, Princess Lilibet’s birthday at the renowned theme park in the USA and shared photos from their visit where Prince Archie also participated in the family festivities.
