Despite the second season of Meghan Markle’s “With Love, Meghan” not making it to Netflix’s top 10 shows, the Duchess of Sussex is reportedly planning to broaden her horizons in the lifestyle industry.

Meghan, who launched “As Ever” in April 2025, has been described as “strategic” in terms of her brand development.

PR expert Dermot McNamara stated: “Meghan has always been strategic when it comes to brand building. The US has embraced her as a lifestyle tastemaker and launching a beauty line would be a natural next step.”

In an interview with OK! Magazine, he further added: “In many ways, she’s channelling the blueprint of women like Victoria Beckham and the Kardashians, who’ve turned their personal image into global empires.”

Speculation about Meghan’s business expansion began after she was seen with Emma Grede, the entrepreneur behind Kim Kardashian‘s multi-million dollar SKIMS range.

Ms. Grede hosted an exclusive all-female dinner in Los Angeles, where Meghan served her own As Ever Sauvignon Blanc to the guests.

Recently, Meghan has also been hinting at venturing into the beauty industry by posting makeup application clips on Instagram.

Dermot believes it’s a smart move. He stated: “By doing her own make-up and showing it online, she’s repositioning herself as relatable, hands-on and creative, all traits that resonate with beauty audiences in 2025.

“Fans buy into personality as much as product and Meghan is taking ownership of both.”

He further commented: “From the blurred product shots in her reels to references to her ‘signature glow’, she’s clearly positioning herself as a self-made entrepreneur rather than a royal adjunct.

“It’s smart, modern and completely in tune with the American consumer.”

An insider also revealed to OK! Magazine that Meghan is keen to continue working independently on her projects.

The source shared: “She’d love for Harry to be involved in whatever she’s doing, but that’s not how it’s played out, so this is something she’ll have to do by herself. She’s prepared to go it alone and will stop at nothing to make a success of As Ever.”
