There have always been a lot of different reports about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. From the press claiming that they are still trying to use their connections to the British royal family for clout to reports that the two are having money issues and would ask King Charles to help pay for their lifestyle, recent reports have not really painted them in a favorable light. But then again, when has the British press had anything good to say about them?
Now RadarOnline is saying that Harry doesn’t have the funds to pay the legal fees in his privacy case against the publisher of the Daily Mail, with the outlet reporting those fees could be around $20 million. And he could reportedly be thinking of asking Sir Elton John for help.

Sir Elton John has an estimated fortune of $640 million and was known to be a close friend of Prince Diana. A source told PageSix: “Elton John could also well help Harry out. They’re extremely close.
“Harry definitely doesn’t have the money for it,” adding that Markle will “likely be very furious about the fees. She did not want him to (pursue the case).”
During the case, Prince Harry told the court his wife’s life had been made an “absolute misery” by the British press. The judge, however, ruled that “suspicion, even understandable suspicion, is not proof” and found that there was not even evidence that the stories were fabricated.
Harry recently returned to the UK for an Invictus Games “One Year to Go” event in Birmingham. Afterwards, Harry, Meghan, and his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, met up with King Charles and Queen Camilla. The King hadn’t seen his grandchildren in four years.
The reception to Harry has been mixed in the UK. “There are still plenty of people who admire the work he’s doing for the military community, but equally, there’s a large section of the public who feel the damage to his relationship with the U.K. is too great and simply aren’t interested in welcoming him back. He knows opinion remains deeply split, and that’s unlikely to change any time soon,” one source said.
Another source added: “Harry might be laughing, but he is being absolutely mauled by his critics.”
“The feeling in Britain among the masses of the public is simply, ‘Why are you here? Go home.’ No one cares about him.”
Harry and Meghan’s return has been met with allegations that they are using their kids to gain leverage on King Charles. According to Closer, that has deeply upset Markle.
“To her this is about as low as it gets. To have people tearing her down and making hurtful and untrue claims is bad enough but to drag her children into it is just beyond the pale. They are going to grow up and potentially read all this poison someday, so it boggles her mind that people could be so cruel.”
“She can’t believe anyone would seriously suggest she and Harry are using Archie and Lilibet to blackmail the King to get what they want. As far as Meghan’s concerned, that’s twisted thinking and completely beneath her.”
