Last night, Dolce & Gabbana brought the glitz and the glam home to Sicily’s Taormina, welcoming celebrities, editors, and friends of the house to witness its Alta Moda 2026 show. Among the guests in attendance was none other than Jennifer Lopez, who sat front row in a custom two-piece ensemble that epitomized the best of hand-crafted “Made in Italy” fashion and D&G’s signature decadence alike.
The look featured a strapless sheath dress from last year’s Alta Moda collection, which was presented on the ancient Via Sacra in the Roman Forum. The floor-length fitted piece was hand-embroidered with gold sequin detailing and covered in ruby, emerald, and sapphire gems, resulting in an altogether regal ensemble that looked right at home on Lopez.
The team paired the gown with a matching crystal-embellished cape, crafted with a silk gold lining and a high standing collar, which the star left unfastened to reveal the layer beneath.
J.Lo didn’t stop there. She accessorized the ensemble with a handful of jaw-dropping details, including a mini gold Sicily bag and gold pumps embroidered with crystals themselves. Stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn selected decadent ruby jewelry, including extra earrings that hair stylist Justine Marjan used to adorn a braided crown updo.
In addition to Marjan’s goddess-style braids, the singer’s glam team went all out. Tom Bachik dreamed up vintage Baroque nail designs, while makeup artist Rokael Lizama touched her eyelids with a soft smokey wing.
Lopez’s trip to Sicily continued her European tour—which started in Paris with haute couture runway shows and most recently took her to London for Wimbledon.
