Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want to continue to mend fences with the royal family.
The former Suits actress, 44, attended Paris Fashion Week as part of an “Establishment plot” known as “Project Thaw,” intended to “warm up” the Sussexes’ “frosty” relationship with the rest of the royal family, according to a report by the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden published on Thursday, October 9.
“This trip is all part of the ‘thaw’ process,” a friend of the couple revealed to Eden, as it looked good for Meghan — whose last trip to Europe was in 2023 for the Invictus Games — to mingle with the European fashion crowd.
“Project Thaw” actually began with the 54-minute visit between Harry, 41, and King Charles III in September, which ended their 19-month estrangement, Eden reported.

Immediately after the Spare author’s trip to his home country, he headed to Kyiv, Ukraine, where he was asked by The Guardian whether he would want to bring his and Meghan’s children — Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4 — to the U.K. and visit there more often.
“Yes I would,” Harry answered. “This week has definitely brought that closer.”
The next step in the “process,” Eden alleged, is for Meghan and Harry to visit England together for the first time since 2022.
“Meghan will return to Britain before the year is out,” the source claimed to Eden, joking she would be “bearing humble pie.”
