Meghan took the stage of her local bookshop, Godmothers, yesterday evening, to discuss her party “top tips,” ahead of the release of the holiday special of her Netflix home and entertaining show, With Love, Meghan.
Her advice to cut down on work on the day by gathering together a tray of mugs the day before rather reminds me of Pippa Middleton’s famous insight that turkeys were perfect for feeding “larger gatherings.”
Really? Gather a tray of mugs?
It’s hard to say quite why this “advice” is so grating, but the assumption that we are all total ******* idiots who need to be told to give people a vessel in which to hold boiling liquid is a good place to start.
I also love the way the host and other guests nod along like they are listening to Warren Buffett.
