SOUTH AMBOY, NJ — Middlesex County’s popular “Music-in-the-Park” free summer concerts returns, and this summer they added a new children’s series.

The Children’s Summer Series offers a free evening of music and hands-on activities tailored for kids, including bilingual music education and puppet-making workshops. This will take place July 24 at Spring Lake Park in South Plainfield and August 21 at Johnson Park in Piscataway.

The concert series features some of Central Jersey’s most talented musicians and runs from June through September at scenic parks across Middlesex County. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. All events are free and open to the public and media.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to support REPLENISH and Feeding Middlesex County, which will be on-site at each concert. Donations will help local families in need. For more information, visit feedingmiddlesexcounty.org.
