Mike Tindall praises Zara as she lets him spend her birthday on the golf course: ‘What a legend!’

Earlier today, the former England rugby captain posted an image of the Tindalls wearing bright green ISPS Handa polo shirts.

He captioned the post: “I can’t believe she’s letting me play golf on her birthday. What a legend!”

Mr Tindall accompanied the message with a red heart emoji.

The father-of-three also wore £54.99 pixel trousers from Royal & Awesome.

The official Tindall Golf Instagram account similarly posted: “The legendary @mike_tindall12 Celebrity Golf Classic is officially under way. Great crowds, great golf and some fantastic causes.

“Blackeye are proud to be involved with bottles at the halfway house, to be given away as prizes and hosting the drinks reception when the golf action is over.”

In attendance were James and Oliver Phelps, who famously played Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise.

The golf event is held at the iconic Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

Guests and celebrities team up for an 18-hole competitive round of golf and fun side activities like giant inflatable golf darts at select holes.

The sporting event is followed by an evening reception, dinner, live entertainment, and high-profile silent and live auctions to drive up fundraising totals.

Mrs Tindall is marking her 45th birthday today, with royal watchers suggesting the Princess Royal’s daughter is set to play an increasingly significant role in the monarchy’s future.

Frequently described as the Royal Family’s secret weapon due to her approachable personality and natural charm, Mrs Tindall is widely regarded as a unifying presence within the institution.

Catherine also recalled her husband’s reaction that day, noting he returned saying he had never felt prouder of anyone.
