Millie Bobby Brown, Jake Bongiovi Reveal They Adopted A Baby Girl

Congrats are in order for actor Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, after the couple announced they adopted a baby girl.

The “Stranger Things” star, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, shared the big news Thursday in a joint Instagram post.

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they wrote, alongside an illustration of a tree. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

“And then there were 3,” they continued, before adding, “Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

The pair’s new addition to their family comes after they wed in a private ceremony in May 2024. Brown and Bongiovi followed up the ceremony with a second wedding in Tuscany, Italy, in September 2024.

Brown previously gushed about her desire to start a family with Bongiovi while appearing on the “SmartLess” podcast in March.

“Jake knows how important it is to me, and of course I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family,” she told hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. “For me personally, like, it’s a huge thing.”

The “Enola Holmes” star went on to declare that becoming parents was an established part of the plan.

“Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married,’ so that was his thing, and my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family,” she said. “I’m one of four. He’s one of four, so it is definitely in our future.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the British actor opened up about her thoughts on adoption.

“I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting,” she said. “For me, like, my home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we stand by, Jake and I — our energy in the house is like, ‘The door is always open.’”
