BigXthaPlug will headline WestFest 2025 at Western Illinois University. The event is scheduled for 8 p.m. Sept. 25 in the University Union Grand Ballroom, according to a community announcement.
BigXthaPlug, a rising hip-hop artist from Dallas, has gained recognition for his platinum-certified singles and dynamic stage presence. His sophomore album, Take Care, debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and has accumulated over 3 billion streams.
The artist’s single “Mmhmm” ranked No. 5 on Apple Music’s Rap Life: Best of 2024 list and appeared on Spotify’s Top Tracks of 2024. Another track, “The Largest,” was featured in Amazon Music’s Best Hip-Hop of 2024 playlists. BigXthaPlug’s Take Care North American Tour sold out 30 venues and attracted over 35,000 fans.
Tickets for WestFest 2025 are priced at $10 for students and $20 for general admission.
